Spaghetti with Yoghurt and Beef , Saudi Style

Cooking Time: 30 minutes


  • 1 pack Perfetto Spaghetti
  • 500 gm Beef mince
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 tbsp tomato pasta
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 10 g parsley, chopped

    Cook the Perfetto Spaghetti according to package instructions, drain and set aside.

    In a medium pan, drizzle in the oil and start cooking the beef. When the beef mince is fully cooked, take it out and place it in a small bowl.

    In the same pan sauté the chopped onions and then the roast the pine nuts. Afterwards add in the cooked beef mince and sauté on low heat. Add in the tomato pasta and salt pepper seasoning, followed by the water.
  • 4.
    Cover the pan with a lid and let it simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes until beef is tender, once the water has evaporated, stir on medium-to-high heat.
  • 5.
    In a serving dish, place the spaghetti, followed by dollops of yoghurt and then the beef. Garnish with chopped parsley.
