INGREDIENTS
- 1 Pack Perfetto Avemarie Lisce
- 6 Ripened medium tomatoes
- 2 or 3 Pinches Salt
- 3 Clove Garlic, minced
- 1 Cup Finely chopped Fresh parsley leaves
- 2 Medium White onions finely chopped
- 500g Minced meat
- Black pepper & Salt to taste
- 150g Mozzarella shredded
- 1 Cup Olive oil
Directions
- 1.Cook the Perfetto Avemarie Lisce according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. Drain again and set aside
- 2.Slice tomatoes in half horizontally and scoop out pulp and seeds. Keep the tip or tomatoes top for decoration purposes
- 3.Salt insides and rest upside down about 15 min on a sheet pan lined with a wire rack to extract juice
- 4.Meanwhile, in a medium pan, fry garlic and onions, add the meat once garlic and onions are golden color and add salt & pepper to taste. Don’t overcook the meat, as it will be baked too
- 5.In a mixing bowl, mix together the above meat mixture, the parsley, half of the mozzarella quantity, the precooked Perfetto Avemarie Lisce; add salt and pepper to taste
- 6.Stuff tomatoes with the filling, sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella, and bake until tomatoes are cooked through and tops are golden brown, about 30 minutes
- 7.Plating tips: Can be served on a bed of Avemarie Lisce or / and rice | can add the tomatoes tips / tops to create a surprise dish for your guests
