Irresistible Baked Pasta Recipes

Pasta is something that is loved any time of the day, throughout the year. Whilst some recipes are complex and take hours of effort and dedication to prepare, few pasta recipes are quick & easy to make, and delicious.

Some of the best comfort food eaten by people is related to pasta in some form or aspect; for instance, in America, people love a pasta dish called macaroni and cheese & some take it a step forward by baking macaroni pasta and cheese in the oven, to get a dish that is a feels like a warm bundle of comfort when you eat it.

Baked pasta dishes are loved by kids and adults alike. There are so many dishes, such as pasta with bechamel sauce and stuffed cannelloni with spinach & ricotta – that is a national Italian favourite. Cannelloni pasta usually stuffed with various fillings, such as meat or cheese, covered in a béchamel or tomato sauce.

In addition to Lasagna pasta, which forms layers of pasta between the sauce and the filling, to make you enjoy the best of sauce. Lasagna should always be oven-baked. All these dishes are easy-to-cook oven recipes with an irresistible taste.

It is worth noting that the lasagna and cannelloni pasta are baked in the oven and do not need to be boiled, in order to enjoy a wonderful and fresh taste.

 Baked Spaghetti casserole


  • 500g Perfetto Spaghetti pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 c cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1½ c cheddar
  • ½ c mozzarella
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ c cheddar
  • ½ c mozzarella


  • Cook pasta as written on the pack and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Melt the butter in a frying pan.
  •  Add the flour and stir in the pan until it becomes smooth.
  • Add the milk to it and stir over medium heat until the sauce is smooth and without any lumps.
  • Add the cream and spices and allow the sauce to cook gently for 5-10 minutes or until the flour has cooked out and the sauce is silky smooth.
  • Add the cheese and turn the heat off. Allow the cheese to melt.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti and stir with the mixture until combined.
  • Add cheese and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.

Baked Spinach and Mushroom Nocciole


  • 500g Perfetto Nocciole pasta
  • 100g butter
  • 200g halved small mushrooms
  • 1 bunch spring onions, finely sliced
  • 50g plain flour
  • 500ml milk
  • 200g spinach, chopped
  • 140g cheddar, grated


  • Cook pasta as written on the pack and set aside.
  • Heat oven to 200 degrees C.
  • melt a little butter in a large saucepan.
  • Fry the mushrooms for a couple of mins, then scoop out and set aside.
  • Fry the blanched spinach for half a minute on high heat and then remove and set aside.
  • Melt the remaining butter in the pan, then add most of the onions and caramelise the onions for 1 minute.
  • Stir in the flour for another minute, then gradually stir in the milk until you have a lump-free sauce.
  • Increase the heat and bubble the sauce, stirring for a few mins to thicken.
  • Turn off the heat, stir in the spinach and most of the cheese to taste.
  • Tip the pasta and mushrooms into an ovenproof dish, then pour over the sauce and mix well in the dish. Scatter over the remaining cheese and spring onions, then bake for 10 mins until golden.

Chicken and Tomato Pasta Bake


  • 1 Pack Perfetto Eliche pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 400g skinless chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomato paste
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 150g grated mozzarella cheese
  • cherry tomatoes


  • Cook pasta as written on the pack and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the onion and garlic for 5 mins.
  • Add the chicken and fry for a further 5 mins, until the chicken has cooked. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and basil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and simmer gently for 15 minutes.
  • Drain the pasta shapes and stir into the chicken and tomato sauce. Transfer to a shallow heatproof dish and sprinkle over the grated mozzarella, followed by the cherry tomatoes. Bake for 15-20 mins until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  • Decorate with fresh basil leaves, add salt and black pepper, then serve.

Green Tuna Pasta Bake


  • 1 pack Perfetto Penne Lisce pasta
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • olive oil
  • 1 pinch of dried chilli flakes
  • 400 g tins tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 can tuna
  • 150 g mature Cheddar cheese
  • 100 g blanched spinach


  • Cook pasta as written on the pack and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.
  • Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Place a shallow pan over a medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil, the onion, garlic and fry for 5 to 10 minutes, or until caramelised, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn the heat up to high and pour in the chopped tomatoes. Tear the leaves from the basil stalks, keeping a few pretty ones aside for later, and stir them into the sauce. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Strain the tuna and stir gently with the sauce to prevent the tuna from crumbling too much, then add a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Toss and coat the pasta in the sauce, then transfer to an ovenproof baking dish.
  • Coarsely grate the cheese and sprinkle over the pasta. Arrange the reserved basil leaves, spinach on top, then sprinkle lightly with black pepper. Drizzle lightly with oil, then place in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbling. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then serve with a nice salad.
