Orzo pasta soup

With carrots and chickpeas
Cooking Time: 20 minutes


  • 200g Perfetto Orzo Pasta
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 carrots
  • 200g cooked chickpeas
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 50g extra virgin olive oil
  • 2tbsps tomato paste
  • 2L vegetable clear broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 1.
    Clean and coarsely chop garlic. Clean the vegetables and chop them in small pieces.
  • 2.
    Drain the chickpeas.
  • 3.
    Heat the oil in a deep cooking pot, add garlic and vegetables and let them cook for a few minutes.
  • 4.
    Add broth and bring to a boil. Add the tomato paste and cook for 15 minutes.
  • 5.
    Add the Orzo Pasta to the soup following the package cooking time.
